Internship Scholarship And Experience Grant Programs
These scholarships support targeted experiences that will develop students' understanding of themselves and a meaningful career path, provide employers with capable interns, contribute to economic development and promote employment of ISU graduates. There are two different programs, each with specific criteria, that are available for Indiana State University students.

Internship scholarship qualifications:
- must have a completed and approved internship experience in Handshake
- must be enrolled in an internship course
- must have a completed application in The Branch
- must have an active host site agreement on file
- must be a current junior or senior
- International students are not eligible
Experience grant qualifications:
- must have a completed and approved internship experience in Handshake
- must be enrolled in an internship course
- must have a completed application in The Branch
- must have an active host site agreement on file
- must meet other eligibility criteria on this website

Elective Professional Certification Award
The Career Center offers an assistance program to help students earn elective professional certifications. This program reimburses students up to $100 of their certification exam or application fees. This program does not cover licensure or exam fees that are required by an industry or expected as a part of employment in that industry (i.e. nursing licensure, pilot license, or teaching licensure, etc). This program does not cover an additional certification that is part of a course program fee. The student musthave completed or be currently enrolled in the appropriate course, seminar, or other prerequisite training for the certification. The student must be currently enrolled in a degree program at Indiana State University. This program works on a reimbursement basis. Students must submit evidence of payment and completion below of the certification exam in order to receive reimbursement. Students can submit for consideration at this Microsoft Form.
